I've been staring at the computer screen for about fifteen minutes now and I really cant find the right words to say. The very first time I met Mary and Greg they were, "of course" mad at Mitchell for being gone all night. I remember thinking to myself how much trouble I myself was in and this might not be the best time to meet them.....First impressions and all. Much to my surprise we walked in and there was Greg and Mary in the first room you walk into(you all know the room) and after a very few choice words from Mary, we were explaining our night as if we were talking to friends. Not even ten minutes into the convo I had myself a Large styrofoam cup of kool-aid and a grilled cheese sandwich.... What I'm trying to say is from the very first time I met her she was like a mother and friend. She and Greg at one point took me in there home for about 6 months even though Mitchell and Lucas didn't live there anymore. They were also the first people to encourage me to go to college. The Diehm family are some of the best people I have ever met and Mary was the Center of it all. She will be greatly missed and loved and remembered in my heart. I wish we had more time..I know you'll be looking out for us from heaven(with your Highlife in hand). I promise to do keep Mitch in line for ya... Although it looks like Monica's got that covered.Lastly, I promise I will finish college for you and when I walk, I will be thinking of you.I love you Mary Diehm!
